{"id":385,"date":"2017-06-06T23:11:23","date_gmt":"2017-06-06T21:11:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sharedinventions.com\/?p=385"},"modified":"2018-10-25T09:25:42","modified_gmt":"2018-10-25T07:25:42","slug":"how-not-to-3d-print-a-project-box","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sharedinventions.com\/?p=385","title":{"rendered":"How NOT to 3D design a project box"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m working on a project, where I need a case.<\/p>\n<p>So I designed a box in the idea in my mind, that printing two from the same part will fit together face to face.<\/p>\n<p>So I have added overhangs, and groves that should meet.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sharedinventions.com\/?attachment_id=387\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-387\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-387\" src=\"https:\/\/sharedinventions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Screen-Shot-2017-05-31-at-23.05.38.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"3104\" height=\"1970\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But in the end it turned out that they don&#8217;t fit.<\/p>\n<p>And the reason of that is, when I flip the part to the top, I will flip it around in one axis only.
